We work closely with Aino Klinikat Oy which offers versatile well-being services, such as the peat sauna, as well as health-enhancing treatments, including reflexology, aromatherapy and hot stone massage.

Ideapark

Only 20 minutes drive from the hotel is Scandinavia's largest shopping center Ideapark. From Valkeakoski you can also take a direct bus line to Ideapark.

Saunas

Hotel Waltikka is very proud of its sauna facilities, which include four traditional Finnish saunas and a Turkish sauna, as well as a comfortable lounge area for relaxation. For sports teams, the benches of Waltikka’s saunas are the perfect place for debriefing after a game.

Move your muscles

In the summer, you can play tennis and volleyball right here at the hotel. Jogging paths in the most beautiful surroundings start almost from the front door. Those craving for indoor activities will love the sports centre, located just a short walk from the hotel.

If you are in search of peace and tranquillity, the nearby lake offers great opportunities for angling. In the summer you can cool off at the nearby beach.

In the winter, the well-kept tracks and pistes of Korkeakangas Ski Centre will suit fans of downhill and cross-country skiing alike. If you would rather relax out on the ice, you could take out our ice-fishing equipment onto the lake.
